In this lesson, Isa explores the open, ambiguous nature of sus chords, showing you some versatile shapes and how to use them in your playing. \u201cThey can add a &nbsp;sense of tension and release,\u201d Isa says. \u201cIt\u2019s really nice to move between the regular triad and a sus chord. Starting with Fm7 (F A-flat C E-flat)&nbsp;Thu breaks down the chord type through a practice-focused lens: first experimenting with rhythmic subdivisions, then moving the shape around the neck. Next, you\u2019ll add melodic ideas by connecting the chord to the corresponding minor pentatonic scale.
